Imagine 100+ congregations and choirs across the nation uniting in worship through the singing of a new social justice hymn. This February 2026, NEWorks is inviting congregations and choirs nationwide to join the ‘Just Like Selma’ Hymn-sing Project in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, founded in 1926 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson.

For a fifth year, NEWorks will team up with the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, FL, to present 6th & Jazz! The program will reach thousands of sixth graders in Orange and Osceola Counties between Monday, March 23 and Friday, March 27, 2026.

NEWorks CEO Nolan Williams, Jr. has won the 2025 Cannes Film Awards Prize for "Best Director, Music Animation Video!" With a record 5,538 submissions from around the globe, this win is an amazing testament to Nolan's vision and the incredible work of the entire "Rise Up & Fight" production team.
NEWorks Voices of Inspiration featured on PBS
Last year, NEWorks CEO Nolan Williams, Jr. led our NEWorks Voices of Inspiration's performance in "The Gathering: A Collective Sonic Ring Shout" at the Kennedy Center. This concert was jointly produced by the National Black Theatre, the Apollo, the American Composers Orchestra and the Center.
