    Target Family Night holiday concert featuring four diverse musical families ("local von Trapps") performing a diverse repertoire of music ranging from classical and jazz to Hispanic, inspirational and holiday songs.

    Lost in the Stars

    Two South African families, one Black and one white, are brought together by a tragic murder charge in the age of Apartheid in Kurt Weill and Maxwell Anderson's musical adaptation of Alan Paton's novel, Cry, the Beloved Country. Bass-baritone Eric Owens stars as Stephen Kumalo.

    NEWorks Productions and the March on Washington Film Festival, in association with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Washington National Opera, are pleased to present a private screening of Cry, the Beloved Country, the acclaimed 1995 movie adapted from Alan Paton's classic same-titled book. This screening is hosted by His Excellency Mninwa Johannes Mahlangu, Ambassador of South Africa to the United States.
